Three of Pentacles

Urban soul tarot three of Pentacles

The Three of Pentacles shows an artisan building an arch in a monastery. The arch will be his legacy and will outlast him. He is being supported by a patron who is paying for the skill and the monk who is collaborating the plans. Each of these three individuals represents different aspects of working in a group if you have drawn the Three of Pentacles. While the Monk represents the spiritual zeal or dedication that you bring to the project the patron stands in for the practical needs such as resources and finances that the project would require. Cathedrals, aim to touch the skies and exist long after the people who conceived of them and worked on them are gone. There are so many hands that go into creating one and yet, the cathedral exists as a cohesive whole. The Three of Pentacles turns up as you are in a position to now work on something that will take on a life of its own. Your work will be in itself a legacy that should be able to stand the test of time. It was ever a matter of dedication, perfection and pride to be a part of the team that created a cathedral, and there was no scope for any kind of shoddy workmanship. This too will bring recognition to you. That recognition will be part of the returns you get back from your project, but it will also go a long way to securing more work for you. The Three of Pentacles is the doorway to success that has opened up for you. Whilst you are still a student and have a long way to become a master, the Three of Pentacles assures you that you are ready for this opportunity. While some people may attribute your success to a lucky break, luck has nothing to with it. You are in this position because of the hard work and dedication that you have brought into your work. You are already a success by being on the project and whilst you still have a lot to learn, you have come very far. The Three of Pentacles is that time when you are busy cooperating with like-minded people on a project. This card shows how far you've come and how much you've learnt. An arch is supposed to be one of the toughest architectural structures to make, and like the skills man, working on it you may now be in a position where you are undertaking something bigger than you have before. The Three pentacles form an upper pointing (fire) triangle and the area under the pentacles forms a lower pointing (water) triangle. This means that you carry your fire or passions into the work that you are doing and are emotionally attached to the outcome of the situation. The Three of Pentacles is a card that beautifully shows an amalgamation of the four elements, earth, air, water and fire along with the soul that you bring into the work you do. Now is a time, when you will begin to be recognized for your skill-set. Buckle up, for the ride of your life. With the Three of Pentacles as your soothsayer, you are going to be stepping up to produce your best work yet, and to outshine that on a daily basis. The bar is set high! You will be learning on the job, and you will soar! When we consciously make a decision to collaborate with others on something that we are creating, the results of having numerous talents together create something magical. Working with others also gives us an insight into our own strengths and weaknesses and gives us an excellent chance to better ourselves. You have spent time learning and honing a skill, and now is the time when it is going to begin to manifest. It is time to begin your journey on a path that will eventually lead you to be a master in the field in the future. It is time now for your intentions to find fruition. Do remember that you are just beginning your journey. Criticism should be taken with gratitude so that every little stumbling block is an opportunity to learn. In my days as a Flight Attendant, the one quote you'd hear is "In Life, it's your Attitude, not your Aptitude, that determines your Altitude!" With the Three of Pentacles, this is even more marked. You have the aptitude, do keep the attitude of humility and learn from your peers and mentors, make amends where you must and the sky is the limit!!

Meditation on The Three Of Pentacles

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed. It is the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead What are you collaborating on? What special skill do you carry into the situation? Where have you been humble and expanded on your learning? Where have you found recognition?
